It took me over 20 years of searching to finally find mine, I guess you could say - I figured it out the hard way and took the long way round, wasting a lot of my time, money and energy in the process.
The truth is - Life’s Calling was inspired by my determination that it shouldn’t be so difficult for people, like me and you, to find the right answers to the most important questions, including, “Why Am I Here?”
Overcoming adversity leaves this profound sense of how precious life is, this means we have a very different motivation to someone, who just wants to run a business, advance their career or be self employed - anybody can have a job!
We’re looking for something more, more than what came before - before being ‘broken and losing it all’.
As adversity-awakened warriors we don’t thrive despite what we’ve been through but because of it. Our baptisms of fire unlocked the hidden strength, courage and tenacity to achieve audacious goals, against impossible odds.
Unless someone has walked a similar path in similar shoes, they have no idea what we’re capable of.
This was the problem I found with all the advice I received from experts in business, entrepreneurship and career advice - they weren’t experts in people like us.
It means the majority of coaches and consultants aren’t fully equipped to provide the answers we’re seeking and that leads to us being pushed off course, off track and out of alignment with our true calling - the work we were born to do.
On other words, you end up wasting your life doing the wrong thing for many years.
I know, because that’s exactly what happened to me and I don’t want that for you too!

My journey began the moment I should have died but instead was left paralysed, after a stranger drugged me without my knowledge or consent and I fell from a 6th floor balcony.
I don’t share my story to shock you or for sympathy but because that life-changing moment became the catalyst for everything that came next in both my professional and personal worlds.
I’m not going to lie - it’s been a long road through to the other side including burnout and breakdown, success and failure. Winning awards and losing everything, not once but 3 times.

I’m fully committed to this important work and driven by the motivation of my own, near-death-experience and a profound question I asked my self, while trapped in my hospital bed.

My search to uncover my life’s calling inspired me to become an expert in Adversity Inspired Entrepreneurship with over 20 years professional practice as a Business Consultant, including being headhunted to work on £multi-million entrepreneurship projects for local governments, alongside a thriving private consultancy.
From the start, I realised there was something essential missing from mainstream business support - nobody was asking the most important questions. Every consultant and advisor I met was more focused on the products or services and not the people behind them.
It’s the same in typical career advice! As a ‘disabled’ entrepreneur myself, nobody has ever asked me -

Focusing solely on how to monetise ideas or skills without questioning, whether it’s the right choice for someone - it’s fundamentally flawed - it’s also a sure path to stress and misery.
